One of the purposes of the Lab is to support innovative initiatives. In its first phase, the Lab adopted three existing initiatives and helped with developmental evaluation and implementation.
In January 2016 the Lab also adopted a fourth initiative, which launched that same month, and in the fall of 2017 the Lab was invited to participate in a collaborative user-centred design initiative called Pathfinder.
During its 2016 campaign the Lab aims to support the four initiatives and to launch from the ground up a new initiative to support the well-being of youth whose families experienced separation or divorce using human-centred design approaches.
